GS UNY and Eduversal Foundation Strengthen Partnership for Master and Doctoral Distance Learning Programs

Jakarta — The Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (GS UNY) has officially established a strategic partnership with the Eduversal Foundation through the signing of an Implementation Arrangement (IA). This collaboration aims to strengthen academic capacity development for educators through Master (S2) and Doctoral (S3) programs delivered via distance learning.
The IA serves as the foundation for broader collaboration, including academic mentoring, study supervision and monitoring, strengthening scientific publications, and enhancing professional competencies for educators affiliated with the Eduversal Foundation.
Currently, 19 teachers, administrators, and education managers from Eduversal Foundation have been officially enrolled as students in GS UNY’s Distance Learning Program (PJJ) at the master and doctoral levels. The flexible learning model allows participants to continue fulfilling their professional responsibilities while receiving academic services equivalent to those of regular programs.
The Director of GS UNY, Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes., AIFO, welcomed the partnership and emphasized GS UNY’s commitment to providing comprehensive academic services. He stated that GS UNY is dedicated to delivering high-quality distance learning supported by intensive academic mentoring and scientific publication assistance to ensure optimal professional development for educators.

As a globally networked educational institution, the Eduversal Foundation emphasizes character education, scientific literacy, language proficiency, and students’ readiness to face technological advancement. Eduversal is also known for producing high-achieving students, including seven international medalists, and for maintaining a strong alumni network of over 7,000 alumni across 170 countries.
Through this partnership, GS UNY and the Eduversal Foundation ensure that advanced studies for educators focus not only on academic achievement but also on strengthening research capacity, improving educational services, and contributing to national educational development. The collaboration is expected to produce educators with strong research competencies, enhanced publication skills, and managerial capabilities to support digital and character-based educational transformation.
