New chapter has been begun for new students of UNY Graduate School. The orientation period (PKKMB) for new students was officially started on Friday, February 16, 2024 by the Director of Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Anik Ghufron, M.Pd.

The event aimed to provide new students with understanding about campus life, rules, and potential that can be developed during their study in UNY Graduate School. Leaders of UNY Graduate School were also introduced, giving direction and guidance for the new students.

Catarina Wahyu Dyah, doctorate student of Educational Science study program delivered her dissertation “Public Economic Empowerment Model through Training in Pioneering Tourism Village in Gunungkidul”. The research investigated and developed the public economic empowerment through training in the pioneering village.

Apart from the aim of obtaining a model of public economic enablement involving training in Gunungkidul, the study also aimed to validate, evaluate, and determine the effectivity of the empowerment model.

Keterlibatan global dalam dunia seni dan pendidikan tingkat lanjut semakin ditingkatkan oleh Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), yang diwakili oleh Wakil Direktur II, Dr. Widyastuti Purbani, M.A. yang mengikuti Workshop Puisi di Michigan State University (MSU) sekaligus menandatangani Implementation Agreement yang bertujuan memperkuat kerja sama antara kedua institusi.

Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta mengumumkan penyelesaian disertasi oleh Sulistio Mukti Cahyono, Ketua Tim Kerja Penyelarasan Pendidikan Vokasi Direktorat Kemitraan dan Penyelarasan DUDI Kemendikbudristek Sulistio Mukti Cahyono dalam sidang doktoral Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Sulistio berhasil merumuskan Model Penyelarasan Pendidikan Vokasi yang inovatif. Disertasi ini merupakan kontribusi signifikan dalam menjawab kebutuhan penyelarasan antara pendidikan vokasi dengan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia kerja.
