One of the supporting and driving factors for improving the quality of study programs is increasing the intensity of synergy or partnerships between organizers of similar study programs in the context of exchanging information and cooperation between organizers of similar study programs. Referring to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as stated in the statute, the role of study program associations in higher education has the role of facilitator and dynamist to realize the intensity of synergy and partnership between study program organizers.

These include improving the curriculum (education), improving the pattern of community empowerment (devotion), and improving the quality of research. The Doctoral Program in Education Science postgraduate UNY is deemed necessary to organize these activities. For 2022, the Doctoral Program in Education Sciences postgraduate UNY was appointed to host the association meeting of 14 study programs throughout Indonesia.

This activity aims to prepare for the Indonesian Education and Science Doctoral Study Program Association Meeting and the Indonesian Education and Science Doctoral Study Program Association Meeting (PPSDP) to be realized. It is hoped that this activity can increase insight. The Education and Science Study Program holds an association meeting to build a unified professional organization to develop scientific study programs. With the association meeting, it is hoped to produce a network of cooperation to develop study programs. And also establishing an Education and Science study program in collaboration with other universities. (tyas/ant)
