Universitas Ivet (UNISVET) Semarang is strengthening its human resource development strategies to achieve Excellent Institutional Accreditation (AIPT) through discussions with the Director of the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (SPs UNY), Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes., AIFO. The visit by the Director of SPs UNY to UNISVET Semarang provided an important opportunity to exchange ideas and share strategies for improving higher education quality.

The meeting, held at UNISVET Semarang, was attended by the Rector of UNISVET Semarang, Dr. Luluk Elyana, S.Pd.I., M.Si., UNISVET Dean Herry Sulendro Mangiri, and other university leaders. The discussion covered various strategies for strengthening human resources, improving academic quality, enhancing institutional governance, and fostering a culture of quality as part of the efforts to achieve Excellent Institutional Accreditation.

During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes., AIFO, emphasized that human resource development in higher education institutions must be carried out systematically, strategically, and sustainably. Improving lecturers’ academic qualifications, strengthening research and scientific publications, promoting learning innovation, and expanding collaboration networks are important factors in enhancing institutional quality and competitiveness.

Meanwhile, the Rector of UNISVET Semarang, Dr. Luluk Elyana, S.Pd.I., M.Si., expressed the university’s commitment to strengthening human resource quality as the main foundation for becoming an excellent higher education institution. She noted that achieving Excellent Institutional Accreditation requires more than simply meeting accreditation criteria; it also depends on the involvement of the entire academic community in fostering a culture of quality and continuously improving professionalism.

Through the meeting, UNISVET Semarang received various strategic recommendations regarding lecturer capacity development, improved academic performance, and the strengthening of its internal quality assurance system. Collaboration between UNISVET Semarang and SPs UNY is expected to continue expanding to support improvements in higher education quality through academic collaboration, research, and human resource development.

This synergy represents a strategic step toward strengthening UNISVET Semarang’s position as an excellent, adaptive, and innovative higher education institution capable of responding to developments in science and the evolving needs of society.
