Graduate School Celebrates 17 Master’s and Doctoral Graduates at June 2026 Graduation Ceremony

The Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held its June 2026 Graduation Ceremony (Yudisium) on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, at the 3rd Floor Hall of the Sugeng Mardiyono Building. The ceremony was attended by 17 master’s and doctoral students who had successfully fulfilled all academic requirements and were officially declared eligible for graduation in their respective fields of study.

The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes., AIFO., the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Research, and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Dyah Kumalasari, M.Pd., as well as the Deputy Director for Planning, General Affairs, and Finance, Prof. Dr. Yudanto, M.Pd. Coordinators of study programs within the Graduate School were also present, demonstrating institutional support and appreciation for the graduates’ academic accomplishments.

Of the total 17 graduates, 11 students completed doctoral-level programs, consisting of eight graduates from the Educational Research and Evaluation (PEP) Doctoral Program, two graduates from the Vocational and Technical Education (PTK) Doctoral Program, and one graduate from the Educational Sciences (IP) Doctoral Program. Meanwhile, six graduates completed master’s-level programs, including three students from the Educational Research and Evaluation (PEP) Master’s Program and three students from the Vocational and Technical Education (PTK) Master’s Program.

The graduation ceremony was conducted in a solemn and meaningful atmosphere, serving as formal academic recognition of each student’s successful completion of their respective degree programs. The occasion represents an important milestone in the academic journey of graduates before proceeding to the university’s official commencement ceremony and formally joining the alumni community of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.

For the graduates, this achievement not only marks the completion of an important academic chapter but also signals the beginning of new professional and intellectual responsibilities. The knowledge, skills, and experiences acquired throughout their studies are expected to serve as a strong foundation for making meaningful contributions to education, research, and the diverse professional fields they will pursue moving forward.

Through the organization of this graduation ceremony, the Graduate School of UNY once again reaffirmed its commitment to producing graduates who demonstrate academic excellence, integrity, and competitiveness at both national and international levels. Graduates are expected to continue developing their scholarly capacities, uphold strong academic values, and contribute actively to advancing the quality of Indonesia’s human resources in the future.
