The UNY Graduate School community convened for a Halal Bihalal celebration on Monday, 30 March 2026, at the Sugeng Mardiyono Hall. The event marked a meaningful moment of reunion and served as the first formal gathering following an extended period of national holidays, collective leave, and flexible working arrangements.

The occasion was characterized by a warm and collegial atmosphere, drawing the participation of the Graduate School's leadership, lecturers, administrative staff, and invited guests from the Eduversal Foundation. Beyond its traditional significance as a moment of mutual forgiveness, the event also served to reinforce institutional synergy and foster deeper collaboration among members of the academic community.

In his address, the Director of the UNY Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes., AIFO., expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to reconvene in such a spirit of unity. He extended a warm welcome and recognition to the guests from Eduversal Foundation, whose attendance reflects the Graduate School's sustained commitment to broadening its collaborative networks.

Remarks were subsequently delivered by the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Research, and Cooperation (AKRK), and the Deputy Director for Planning, General Affairs, and Finance (PUK), both of whom underscored the importance of maintaining a culture of collegiality and professional dedication as the academic community transitions back from the extended holiday period.

Eduversal Foundation representative Eko Andi Hartono expressed his appreciation for the invitation and conveyed his hope that the existing partnership would continue to flourish through meaningful collaborative initiatives in the future.

The occasion also provided an opportunity for the Director of SPs UNY to formally introduce a new faculty member, Subarino, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D., whose appointment is anticipated to further elevate the Graduate School's academic standing and its contributions to the advancement of education and research.

The Halal Bihalal concluded with an informal social gathering that further cultivated a sense of fellowship among all attendees. Through this occasion, the UNY Graduate School reaffirms its enduring commitment to nurturing a harmonious, collaborative, and productive academic environment.
