The Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (SPs UNY) welcomed a delegation of leaders and lecturers from Universitas Ivet on Friday, 20 February 2025. The meeting, held at the SPs UNY Executive Meeting Room, served as both a collegial gathering and an opportunity to explore further study prospects for Universitas Ivet's junior lecturers.

The session was opened by the Director of SPs UNY, who extended a warm welcome and expressed appreciation for Universitas Ivet's initiative in reaching out for academic dialogue. In her remarks, the Rector of Universitas Ivet, Dr. Luluk Elyana, S.Pd.I., M.Si., conveyed her gratitude for the opportunity to visit and shared the delegation's purpose — to seek knowledge and explore pathways for their junior lecturers to pursue higher academic qualifications.

Accompanying the Rector were several lecturers: Budi Dyah Lestari, M.Pd. (Faculty of Education and Teacher Training/FKIP), Yeni Widyawati, M.Pd. (FKIP), Dwi Nur Yuliyani, S.Si., M.Ling. (FKIP), Muhammad Zainudin Aklis, M.Pd. (Faculty of Islamic Studies/FAI), and Ratna Dwi Kurniawan, S.T., M.T. (Faculty of Maritime Studies). The session continued with individual introductions, during which each lecturer shared their academic background and study plans.

During the discussion, the Director of SPs UNY affirmed the Graduate School's readiness to welcome prospective students from Universitas Ivet, including through the Distance Learning (PJJ) scheme. The session also featured a comprehensive overview of the academic facilities, student services, learning systems, and thesis completion acceleration strategies available at SPs UNY to support student success.

The discussion was highly interactive, with additional exchanges on best practices in student management, including strategies for supporting students approaching the end of their permitted study period. This sharing of experience is expected to strengthen academic cooperation while enhancing the quality of educational management at both institutions.

The visit marks a positive first step in broadening institutional networks and opening wider opportunities for Universitas Ivet lecturers to develop their professional competencies through advanced study at SPs UNY.
