The Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held its January 2026 Graduation Ceremony (Yudisium) on Friday, 30 January 2026. The event was attended by 44 students from the Master's (S-2) and Doctoral (S-3) programs who have successfully completed their studies and are now entitled to bear their respective academic degrees.

The graduates comprised 9 students from the Doctoral Program in Educational Research and Evaluation (PEP), 7 from the Doctoral Program in Vocational and Technical Education (PTK), and 10 from the Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences (IP). At the Master's level, the ceremony included 6 graduates from PEP, 6 from PTK, 1 from Environmental Sciences, and 5 from Human Resource Management (MSDM).

The ceremony proceeded in a solemn and orderly manner, opening with the official reading of the graduation decree. As a symbol of the graduates' commitment to their alma mater and society, the alumni pledge was delivered on behalf of all graduates by M. Rizal Fathoni, M.Pd. The pledge served as a reaffirmation of the graduates' readiness to apply their knowledge, uphold academic integrity, and contribute meaningfully to the nation.

A student representative address was also delivered by Dr. Rendy Roos Handoyo, who expressed gratitude for the academic achievements attained and extended his appreciation to the lecturers, administrative staff, and the entire academic community of the UNY Graduate School for their guidance and support throughout the study journey. He also encouraged fellow graduates to continue making meaningful contributions, fostering innovation, and upholding the reputation of UNY across their respective fields of profession and service.

This graduation ceremony marks the close of a significant academic chapter for the graduates, as well as the beginning of a new role as alumni of the UNY Graduate School. Through its graduates, the Graduate School of UNY reaffirms its commitment to developing highly competent, characterful, and globally competitive human resources at both the national and international levels.
