Margoagung Village has major potential in the tourism sector. Apart from known as a “Tourism Village”, it is also known as a “Cultural Village”. As a golden village, Margoagung needs to develop their arts, especially traditional arts. Their traditional arts have been developed into excellent cultural arts so far. One of Cultural arts that have been developed is the art of music which mainly focused on traditional music for this time. The development of their traditional music has been become very strong. The construction of traditional music that has been carried out so far are gamelan music and karawitan.

Meanwhile, it has never been any construction or the development of modern art there. Due to the lack of modern musical equipment facilities, the youth's creativity cannot develop optimally. The Community Partnership that organized by the Doctoral Program in IP and PEP was carried out to provide capital to Karang Taruna for developing their potential of modern art. In addition, in the activity that held at SD N Margoagung, the instructors provided training on setting up a good music studio, fulfilling Occupational Safety and Security (K3) and also providing music training management training to make the training optimally carried out.
