GS UNY Visiting Professor Program Held at UKM and UPSI Malaysia

Malaysia, 11–16 November 2025 — The Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (GS UNY) conducted its Visiting Professor Program at two partner universities: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). The initiative is part of SPs UNY’s 2025 international academic agenda.
At UKM, GS UNY was represented by Prof. Dr. Edi Istiyono, M.Si., and Dr. Yolandaru Septiana, M.Pd., who delivered guest lectures and engaged in academic discussions with UKM students and faculty. Prof. Dr. Norzalita Abd Aziz (UKM) also served as a keynote contributor, offering cross-national perspectives on research in education and applied sciences.
The program continued at UPSI with sessions led by Prof. Dr. Dyah Kumalasari, M.Pd. (GS UNY) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wang Shir Li (UPSI). The activities included public lectures, in-depth research dialogues, and scholarly exchanges aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration between UNY and UPSI.
This visiting professor initiative serves as a strategic effort to expand GS UNY’s global academic engagement, enhance research capacity among its faculty members, and reinforce its contribution to international knowledge development.
