Strengthening Academic Networks: The Graduate School of UNY Welcomes Universitas Pasundan to Explore International Conference Collaboration

The Graduate School (SPs) of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta welcomed a delegation from the Graduate School of Universitas Pasundan on Monday, 11 May 2026, at the Executive Meeting Room of the Graduate School. The visit served as an important opportunity to strengthen inter-institutional networks while exploring potential avenues for international academic collaboration.

The delegation from Universitas Pasundan consisted of eight representatives, including the Director of the Graduate School, Prof. Dr. H. Bambang Heru Purwanto, and the Vice Director for Learning, Student Affairs, Alumni, Religion, and Culture, Prof. Dr. H. Yaya Mulyana Abdul Azis.

Representing the Graduate School were its Director, Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo; the Vice Director for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Research, and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Dyah Kumalasari; and the Coordinator of the International Affairs and Partnerships Unit, Dr. Yolandaru Septiana.

During the meeting, both institutions discussed opportunities for academic collaboration, particularly in organizing international conferences involving master’s and doctoral students. The discussion also underscored the importance of strengthening academic networks among higher education institutions as part of broader efforts to enhance academic engagement and expand research contributions on a global scale.

The meeting unfolded in a warm and interactive atmosphere, marked by a productive exchange of ideas regarding future internationally oriented academic initiatives that could be developed collaboratively. Through this visit, both institutions are expected to foster stronger synergy in advancing higher education, research collaboration, and international scholarly publications in the years ahead.
