From SPs UNY, the signing was attended by academic leaders and faculty members who warmly welcomed this collaboration.

In his remarks, the BPD DIY representative expressed that the partnership is expected to open broader opportunities for collaboration, especially in capacity building programs, applied research, and the utilization of information technology to enhance both educational and banking services.

UNY Graduate School emphasized that cooperation with industries and financial institutions such as BPD DIY demonstrates the university’s commitment to implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—particularly in conducting research and community engagement aligned with workforce needs and the challenges of digital transformation.

Interestingly, the signing ceremony also marked the opening of a Linux Software Training program for nine BPD DIY employees. This activity served as the initial implementation of the partnership, aiming to strengthen participants’ competence in using open-source operating systems while supporting efficiency and data security in digital service management.

Through this collaboration, both institutions are committed to developing joint programs focused on building excellent human resources, driving digital innovation, and promoting community empowerment based on research and technology.
