EMPLOYMENT ISSUE IN GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE 2022

Public lecture activities with the theme Education System in Germany with speakers are Prof. Dr. Phil. Steffen Kresten from Technische Universitat Dresden, Germany. This activity was attended by 35 participants with a blended learning mode (limited offline is on the 3rd floor of the Sugeng Mardiyono Postgraduate Building and online using the zoom meeting platform).

In this activity, Prof. Dr. Phil. Steffen Kersten said that the development of the world of education is very fast. Germany implements 3 education systems: general education, vocational education, and engineering education. Every year, German universities only graduate a maximum of 22 vocational students, no more than 22 students. This is to maintain quality.

One of the strengths of the German economy so far lies in strong small and medium-sized industries/businesses supported by the availability of skilled labor in sufficient quantity and quality, evenly distributed and standardized throughout Germany. This success can be achieved on an ongoing basis because it is supported by a dual vocational system implemented nationally. It is a success story and a solid foundation for the German economy.
