STUDY ACCELERATION WITH WRITING CAMP

The existence of Graduate School students who are almost at the end of their studies and have not finished their writing dissertations is particularly considered necessary to carry out activities that help students finish their dissertations in an efficient and focused way to make it easier for students to find the necessary reference materials.

In order to solve this problem, UNY Graduate School organizes a Writing Camp Workshop where students are facilitated by the Graduate School Library Room including access to references, independent workspaces, and other facilities that make students can work optimally in completing their writing without being distracted by other activities.

The Writing Camp activity was opened by the Director of the UNY Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Anik Ghufron, M.Pd., and attended by 18 students. During the opening ceremony, Vice Director for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Slamet Suyanto, M.Ed. as the speaker explained the purpose and objectives of this activity, conveyed material about writing a good and correct dissertation, and also things that students need to do during the activity.
Students worked to finish their dissertations writing every day in the library room where various needs have been provided for students while they work. Consumption is also provided to make them not have to go out for lunch. There are also provided independent workspace, internet access, access to references for writing, consultant lecturers, and facilitation of online/offline tutoring with promoters/co-promoters. 

In addition to the promoter and co-promoter, consultant lecturers are provided every day for students to consult about writing their dissertations. The Consultant Lecturers are intake to serve student consultations and provide the best solutions for students and record the results of the consultation. This activity is intended to provide the assistance needed by students related to the completion of writing their dissertations.
