83 TEACHERS FOLLOW THE TRAINING FOR PREPARATION OF ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENTS

The UNY Graduate School through the Educational Research and Evaluation (PEP) Study Program has just held an international collaboration and Community Service (PkM) activity with Putra Malaysia University (UPM) on November 9 to 10, 2022 that conducted online. International PkM with the title "Training of the preparation of Assessment Instruments and Its Analysis Using The Modern Test Theory Approach (IRT) for Elementary School Teachers in Indonesia & Malaysia" was attended by several speakers, including Prof. Dr. Edi Istiyono (UNY), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tajularipin Sulaiman (UPM), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Marzuki Wan Jaafar (UPM), and Dr. Widihastuti (UNY).

The training was attended by 76 teachers from Indonesia and 7 teachers from Malaysia. This PkM is intended to provide understanding and also improve teachers' abilities in carrying out technical activities for preparing assessment instruments and data analysis with IRT which will have impacts on improving the quality of education, especially in elementary schools in Indonesia and Malaysia.
